East Coast Pizza Company celebrates 13 years in Simi

No matter how you slice it, 13 years is an incredible run—and the East Coast Pizza Company is still going strong. The family-owned and operated restaurant celebrates 13 years in Simi Valley tomorrow, Feb. 5 at 2667 Tapo Canyon Road.

During Sunday’s anniversary event, East Cost is offering $13 extra large cheese pizzas all day and giving away free slices of cheese pizza from 2 to 4 p.m. All orders placed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be automatically entered into a contest. Prizes include free pizza for a year or a big screen TV.

Owner Neil Felder has been an active member of the community since moving to Simi Valley in 1997. An East Coast native, Felder couldn’t find pizza here like he remembered back home, so he created his own recipes, learned to toss his own pizzas and opened a restaurant.

During the pandemic, Felder was able to not only offer authentic East Coast food to his customers, he also turned the restaurant into a grocery store providing hard-to-get items like flour, toilet paper and other goods. In 2022, he was honored by the Simi Valley PTA/ PTSA Council with an Honorary Service Award for giving back to the community and local schools.
