First declared challenger in 25th District emerges
Katie Hill announced her run for California’s 25th Congressional District on March 8. Since then, she has been crisscrossing the district, listening to the concerns of the people.
Hill is a native of Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley.
She serves as executive director and deputy CEO of PATH, a not-for-profit corporation that strives to end homelessness for individuals and families across California. In the last four years, under her leadership, PATH has helped more than 1,800 chronically homeless individuals, 2,100 veterans and 2,600 families into permanent housing.
Hill graduated from local schools: Highlands Elementary, Arroyo Seco Junior High and Saugus High schools. Her bachelor’s degree is from Cal State Northridge. Her Master of Public Administration is through the University Center at College of the Canyons.
She lives in Agua Dulce with her husband on their farm for rescue animals.
