Third annual benefit to help rescue horses in need

Night of the Horse: A Dream of Equus, the third annual benefit for California Coastal Horse Rescue, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 23 at the Conejo Valley Art Museum, 275 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. The museum is located in the Janss Marketplace by Regal Cinemas,

This benefit for horses in need will have live music by the Zmed Brothers, wine, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

The museum has created an all-equine-themed exhibit of paintings, sculptures and photographs titled “A Dream of Equus.”

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists.

California Coastal Horse Rescue will share news of its latest projects and activities at its headquarters in Ojai, and ways guests can help.
