Marsh prepares for NFL season with Eagles


Curtis Marsh Curtis Marsh Curtis Marsh has found a home in Philadelphia.

The Royal High graduate will report to the Philadelphia Eagles’ training camp later this month to begin his fourth NFL season.

Marsh, a third-round draft pick in 2011 from Utah State, is a cornerback and special teams ace.

Marsh is one of several Acorn locals suiting up for the Eagles. Rookie offensive tackle Kevin Graf (Agoura) and fourth-year veteran Casey Matthews (Oaks Christian) play for Philadelphia. Marsh’s brother from Oaks Christian, Cassius Marsh, was a fourth-round selection by the Seattle Seahawks in May.

Ricky Elmore, a Grace Brethren graduate, is a free agent linebacker. He most recently suited up for the Washington Redskins in 2013.
