Standout Simi scholars
•Lindsay Mulhearn of Simi Valley was named to Springfield College (Springfield, Mass.) dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2011 term.
Mulhearn is majoring in rehab and disability studies.
• Two Simi Valley residents were named to the Dean’s Academic Honor List for the 2011 fall semester at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Tiffany Kristine Rudzitis is in the College of Arts and Sciences and David Christopher Willingham is in the School of Engineering and Computer Science.
A student on the dean’s list must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
Baylor is a private Christian liberal arts institution.
•Tavish Dunn of Simi Valley was named to the California Lutheran University dean’s honor list for the fall 2011 semester.
Tavish is a freshman majoring in mathematics.
For this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 semester grade credits and have achieved a 3.6 or above grade point average.
•Jamie Landtiser of Simi Valley has been named to the Champlain College fall 2011 dean’s list for academic achievements and achieving a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Landtiser is majoring in psychology.
Champlain College is a private baccalaureate institution in Burlington, Vt.
•Wayne Holland of Simi Valley made the dean’s list at DePaul University for the fall quarter of 2011.
To qualify for this honor, students must earn above a 3.0 grade point average on a 4-point scale.
