PTA educates community on child trafficking
RAISING AWARENESS—Jennifer Jones, executive assistant to the president of International Crisis Aid, speaks to guests and students at Royal High School on Jan. 11 about domestic sex trafficking, its prevention and the rehabilitation of victims. The PTA/PTSA-sponsored event included presentations from local law enforcement, sexual assault healthcare workers and activists to raise awareness about the more than 200,000 child victims of sexual slavery in America.
