Sojka’s got what it takes to be mayor

I have known Steve Sojka for more than 10 years, and during that time I have watched as his desire to do right by Simi Valley continues to grow and grow. To know Steve is to know a man who is devoted to his family and to our community.

To know Steve is to know a family man who, along with his wife, Laura, and their children, is very active and involved here in our community.

The amount of time and energy Steve dedicates to our city shows that he has a passion for living here in Simi Valley and helping to make it a place where we can all raise our families.

To know Steve is to know a businessman who owns and runs his own business right here in Simi Valley and understands the importance of balancing business needs with those of home life and his efforts while serving on our City Council.

To know Steve is to know a modest, straight-shooting man who listens. He’s not one prone to exaggerate or stand on a soap- box for attention, and you’ll never hear him tell you what you want to hear just to make you happy or get you to move on.

To know Steve is to know that he is not a politician. He is truly a public servant.

To know Steve is to know a man you can believe in and trust. Steve possesses so many great qualities, and it will be these qualities that provide Steve with the ability to serve Simi Valley as its next mayor.
