No justice in road rage incident

Recently my wife was involved in a road rage incident. Without going into details, the opposing car tried to run her off the road while making vulgar gestures out the window.

She managed to get a license plate number and called it into the police. We were told by the Simi Valley Police Department that because he didn’t succeed in running her off the road and didn’t actually collide with her car there was nothing that they could do.

In a state where self-defense has practically been outlawed, we rely on sworn law enforcement to protect us. We need law enforcement to step up and protect lawabiding citizens.

Guns are far less deadly than vehicles, statistically speaking, but apparently attempted assault with a car is seen differently than attempted assault with a firearm.

If our local law enforcement is not willing to protect us, who will?
