•Army Pfc. Johnny M. Polito has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Polito is the son of John Polito of Simi Valley and a 2007 graduate of Apollo High School.

•Air Force Airman Vincent M. Price graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Geoffrey and Ronda Freeman of Simi Valley and a 2007 graduate of Royal High School.
