Residents can submit veterans’ names for the Rancho Tapo Community Park and Veterans Plaza in Simi Valley.

The names are due as soon as possible.

The names are engraved on the monument in sets of 15 names per granite sheet. The names will be unveiled at the Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11, 2010.

More than 1,500 names are already listed on granite pilasters at the park.

Donations of any amount can be made to support the ongoing maintenance of the Veterans Plaza. Donations of $200 or more will allow for a veteran’s name to be engraved at the site.
