The Los Angeles Lightning basketball team, featuring several NBA veterans and international players, will play the Phoenix Raptors, another semipro team, at 7:30 p.m. Fri., June 18 in the Royal High School gymnasium.

Half of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Royal High boys’ basketball program for the purchase of new uniforms, equipment and travel expenses.

The game is open to the public; families are welcome.

Businesses in Simi Valley are purchasing tickets and donating them back to the community by sending youth basketball teams and children to the game.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door.
