The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents the following programs for seniors.

Unless otherwise noted, activities take place at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

•The Grandparent and Me program will have a Father’s Day craft event from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Sat., June 12. Children ages 3 to 12 can come with a grandparent to make a tool carrier and other crafts for their fathers.

The cost is $5 per child.

•A walking tour of Corriganville will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Sat., June 19, July17 and Aug. 21 at the park, 7001 Smith Road, Simi Valley.

Participants can hear stories about the movies and TV shows filmed there.

The cost is $5, and participants should wear hiking or comfortable shoes.

•A bowling class will meet at noon Tuesdays June 15 to July 27 at Harley’s Bowl, 480 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.

The $29 fee includes two games, shoes and instruction.

Harley’s Bowl will give each student two practice games per week. Call the senior center for details.

•The long form, Yang style, of tai chi will be taught from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays, June 14 through 26. The fee is $35.
