The Ventura County Arts Council Visual Arts Committee invites artists in all media to submit entries for an open juried show for works that create a smile or cause someone to laugh out loud. The pieces should be seriously whimsical and surprise and delight viewers with quirkiness and humor.

Exhibit dates are July 16 through Aug. 25. The submission deadline is Wed., June 30. Images should be submitted on a CD accompanied by the entry form, entry fee and labels.

Notification of selected pieces will be via e-mail by Fri., July 9 and art take-in will be Wed., July 14.
