•Army Pvt. Thomas M. Gonzalez has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky., which consisted of basic military training and advanced individual training during which the soldier completed the seven-week cavalry scout course.

The private, a 2006 graduate of Santa Susana High School, is the son of Frank T. Gonzalez of Simi Valley.

•Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Michael R. Jallora graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Paul and Nancy Dallora of Simi Valley and a 2008 graduate of Santa Susana High School.
