A man, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at Stearns Street and the 118 Freeway.

At E. Cochran and N. Sweetwood streets, a 22-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a 20year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics.

In the 2100 block of Heywood Street, a 58-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

March 17

The following were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 51-year-old man in the 2600 block of Stearns Street and a 40-year-old woman at Sequoia and N. Medina avenues.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and Park Street, a 32-year-old man was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon.

March 18

A man, 28, was arrested for committing vandalism resulting in more than $400 in damage in the 1900 block of First Street.

In the 1800 block of Galt Street, a 19-year-old man was arrested on charges of statutory rape.

March 19

A 23-year-old was arrested on charges of burglary in the 2100 block of Cross Creek Avenue.

Officers responded to a disturbance in progress in the 6000 block of E. Nelda Street and arrested a 30-year-old man for maliciously and willfully disturbing another person by loud and unreasonable noise. He was arrested again for the same violation in the same area March 21.

March 20

In the 5500 block of E. Cochran Avenue, a 45-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

March 21

A 38-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 6200 block of Cory Street.

In the 1500 block of Sunnydale Avenue, a 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing a noninjury accident in the 1200 block of Tivoli Lane.

In the 2000 block of Casual Court, a 31-year-old man was arrested on a charge of sexual battery.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in the 1500 block of Rory Lane for domestic battery.

March 23

At the police station in the 3900 block of Alamo Street, a 20-year-old man was arrested for disobeying a court order to register as a member of a street gang.

In the 2000 block of Denny Street, an 18-year-old man was arrested for committing vandalism resulting in more than $400 worth of damage.

A man, 35, was arrested on a charge of domestic infliction of corporal injury in the 2400 block of Fitzgerald Road.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing an injury accident at Tapo Canyon Road and Lost Canyons Drive.
