Simi Valley Ford will host a blood drive to benefit United Blood Services from 1 to 5 p.m. Mon., March 29.

The UBS mobile unit will be stationed in the front parking lot of the dealership at 2440 First St., Simi Valley.

Anyone planning to donate blood should drink lots of water the day before and several hours before donating and eat healthful meals. Anyone wanting to know if they are eligible to donate blood can call UBS at the number below.

The blood drive is open to the general public. Donors may sign up to donate at Simi Valley Ford or by calling the UBS appointment line at (800) 7153699 or (805) 654-1600.
