Simi Valley HarleyDavidson in Moorpark will host a free, women-only Garage Party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sat., March 27 at the dealership, 6190 Condor Drive, Moorpark.

The Garage Party provides an open environment for women to learn more about motorcycling and to meet other women who are interested in riding.

Party guests can expect activities with topics that include a review of the basic motorcycle controls, how to customize a motorcycle’s ergonomics and how to choose proper riding gear.

Attendees are organized into small groups that will visit the following informational stations.

•Motorcycle orientation to learn the basic differences between Harley-Davidson model families and Buell motorcycle families.

•MotorClothes to discover the attributes needed for motorcycle gear.

•Motorcycle fit and function to learn how to customize a motorcycle.

•How to pick up a motorcycle to show that just about anyone can handle the weight of a motorcycle.

Between stations, women will have the opportunity to interact with each other, hear from women bikers and ask questions.
