Dennis McKee (“Tea Party has gone off track, letters, Feb. 26) parrots standard Democratic Party talking points, drumming on their stock theme that Tea Party fans are ignorant imbeciles who don’t know what’s good for them, as is anyone else who disagrees with the left.
Few readers need analysis of liberalism; for example, those who still get paychecks can easily disprove the tax cut lies by their own net pay.
Unfortunately, people don’t check out the climate issue but should. McKee repeats old saws about doubters not being climate scientists, and climate scientists’ near unanimous agreement.
He does not tell you that the most prominent doubters are independent mathematicians, economists and physicists, who point out gross errors in math and science that utterly destroy the conclusions of the climate scientists.
McKee does not mention that there are only about 75 paleoclimatologists in the world, that they collaborate very closely or that they receive massive funding from political and other interests.
He does not mention the climate-gate e-mails, which show the climate scientists overtly conspiring to lie, destroy data and prevent publication of critical papers in peer-reviewed journals that they aggressively controlled. The same e-mails show the climate scientists’ cynically explicit plans to attack the critics for failure to publish in those very journals.
Nothing tells you more about a person than his own words.
Anyone with a superficial understanding of mathematics can follow MacIntyre and McKitrick’s demolitions of Dr. Mann’s hockey stick papers. Statistics professor Edward Wegman of George Mason University published analyses and replies to critics regarding MacIntyre and McKitrick versus Mann, Bradley and Hughes.
The Democrats and their foreign allies want you to accept policy changes that will cost trillions of dollars and stifle economic development worldwide for extremely dubious conclusions based on discredited, incompetent research.
Please disregard the clumsy propaganda about “settled science.”
Please read both sides of the argument before you agree to destroy the future of America’s children and consign billions of people to permanent poverty.
