The 2010 Gator Run, presented by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunset, will take place on Sun., April 25 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park.

The event will have a 5K run, 10K run/walk and Healthy Kids 1 Mile Fun Run open to all children ages 6 to 12.

Last year’s run had almost 1,000 participants.

This year’s event will include a two-day Health and Fitness Expo at the Simi Valley Town Center on Sat., April 24 and at the event site on race day.

Proceeds from the run will benefit local and international charitable organizations supported by Rotary.

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, with special prizes going to the top three male, female and military overall race winners.
