Simi High sports lacking coverage

With all due respect, I would first like to point out there is nothing wrong with Royal High School. After all, we are a joined community, and I am friends with many people there.

With respect to the Acorn , however, I have to say I am slightly miffed at what has been produced with respect to publicity for Simi High School, or lack thereof.

Let’s admit Royal High has some of the best athletes in the community, and every time they perform even remotely close to exceptional, they end up in the paper. But where’s the love for Simi High?

Sure, we get a small article here and there, but I can’t help but see that, more often than not, it’s all about Royal.

In all honesty, not to be cliché, but this town is called Simi Valley. Athletes of both schools are more than deserving of the front cover with their exceptional performances, yet Highlanders continue to end there.

All I’m asking for in the future is more egalitarianism, just to spice up the paper.

Go, Pioneers!
