Please don’t text and drive

Last year, the husband of one of my schoolteachers husband was killed in an accident due to a driver who was texting while driving.

This event caused so much pain and distress to the family and their friends.

A beloved father and husband was lost due to a cellphone and a careless driver. Texting while driving is not only extremely dangerous, it’s also against the law.

I am a soon-to-be-driver, and it makes me and my family very nervous to know there are people on the road who text while driving. As a privilege from which we benefit, driving shouldn’t be used as a way to harm others.

One of the easiest ways to prevent this is simply to not text while driving. That will prevent many potential accidents from occurring and many people’s lives from being destroyed. So, make your car a text-free zone!
