The Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) will host an event on “IEP: Your Child’s Plan for Success,” part of its Training and Information for Parents series, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tues., Feb. 23 at the Garden Grove Elementary School cafeteria, 2250 N. Tracy Ave., Simi Valley.

The program will give an overview of special education laws and the IEP process, with tips for parents for better participation.
