The California Employment Development Department will present a Federal/State Basic Payroll Tax Seminar from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 25 at the Job and Career Center, Simi Valley Room, 980 Enchanted Way, Ste. 105, Simi Valley.

The seminar will cover state payroll reporting requirements, including forms and employer obligations; independent contractor reporting requirements; and electronic filing and federal payroll reporting requirements, including federal forms.
