Daffodil Days are back to support cancer patients, research
The American Cancer Society presents its annual Daffodil Days program. A donation of $25 will purchase the Gift of Hope, a bouquet of 10 daffodil stems in a vase that is delivered anonymously to local cancer patients.
Multiple donation levels are offered to enable donors to support as many Gift of Hope deliveries as they choose.
New to the Daffodil Days campaign this year is the Bear of Hope donation. For a minimum $25 donation, the Society will anonymously deliver a limited-edition Boyds by Enesco Birthdays R. Hope bear to a child in the community who is receiving cancer care.
Money raised through the program enable the society to offer free programs and services to people with cancer and to support medical research and political lobbying for health bills.
The last day to place an advanced order is Feb. 26.
Daffodils and Bear and a Bunch products will be delivered on March 23.
For more information or to place an order, call the American Cancer Society Field Office at (805) 644-4237.
