B’nai Emet to host Purim carnival
Congregation B’nai Emet of Simi Valley will celebrate Purim with the traditional reading of the Magillah at 7 p.m. Fri., Feb. 26 at the synagogue, 9 W. Bonita Drive, Simi Valley.
The sixth-grade religious school students will present a pantomime of the Purim story. There will be a costume parade and contest. Hamantaschen will be served.
A Purim carnival will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sun., Feb. 28 at 3050 Kadota St., Simi Valley.
There will also be a rummage sale beginning at 8 a.m. and a chicken soup cook-off.
