The Endowment Fund Committee of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church has been donating community grants to nonprofit agencies.

Grants have been awarded to Care & Share, ARC, Lutheran Social Services and the Samaritan Center. 

The Still Water Cafe, a community meal service on Thursday nights at the church, is also helped by endowment fund grants.

Contributions have also been made to International Health Partners, Lutheran camping and Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Services. 

The funds are made available by gifts from the community.

To apply for a grant, call the church at (805) 526-7577 and ask for the endowment distribution chairman. Grant forms are available in the church office at 4191 Cochran St., Simi Valley.
