The city of Simi Valley and Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation will host a foreclosure prevention workshop on Sat., Feb. 13 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

The program will be offered in English at 9:30 a.m. and repeated at 11 a.m. for those limited in English proficiency. The workshop and counseling services are free.

CEDC housing counselors can contact lenders on behalf of homeowners in an effort to negotiate a workout plan or loan modification.
