A 31-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at Galt and Los Angeles avenues.

At the Sinaloa Shopping Plaza in the 600 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 46-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of embezzlement.

In the 5200 block of E. Cochran Street, a 19-year-old man was arrested for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.

Jan. 21

At Sycamore Drive and E. Cochran Street, a 19-year-old man was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Jan. 22

A man, 40, was arrested at E. Cochran Street and N. Elmdale Avenue and charged with stealing a vehicle.

The following were arrested at Tapo Canyon Road and Avenida Simi: a 29-year-old man for possession of narcotics, a 49-yearold woman for possession of marijuana and a 26-year-old man for the possession or purchase of a controlled substance for sale.

At Alamo Street and Fairbanks Avenue, a 23-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

At the Pavilions in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road, a 24year-old man and a 22-year-old man were arrested for burglary.

Jan. 24

Officers responded to a disturbance in progress in the Albertsons shopping center in the 5000 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and arrested a 56-year-old man for violation of a promise to appear or pay a fine.

Jan. 26

A 48-year-old woman was arrested for committing petty theft Jan. 14 at the Macy’s in the 1400 block of Simi Town Center Way.

A burglary was reported at the Home Depot in the 500 block of E. Cochran Street.

A 38-year-old man was arrested for transporting or importing into the state a controlled substance, and selling it or giving it away.

Jan. 27 A theft was reported in the 2000 block of Magnolia Street.
