The First Ladies of Simi Valley Hospital Foundation are seeking nominations from local organizations for the 2010 Woman of the Year award, which will be given at the Hats Off to Women Luncheon and Fashion Show on April 16 at the American Jewish University-House of the Book in Simi Valley.

Hats Off to Women celebrates women and raises funds for hospital community outreach projects.

This year the funds will be earmarked for the Emergency Department expansion.

The Woman of the Year award honors one woman from a business or organization who gives of her time, talents and treasures to a local organization that benefits the community.

Nominees must work or live in Simi Valley or Moorpark. A panel of judges will select the award recipient.

Nominations must be submitted by Feb. 19 and mailed to Simi Valley Hospital Foundation, 2975 N. Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065 or faxed to (805) 955-6671.
