GOP leader makes first visit to Reagan Library
STEELE GRIP—Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele—whose name has come up as a possible 2012 presidential candidate—signs a copy of his book, “Right Now,” for a visitor at the Reagan Library on Wednesday. Steele, the first African American to be elected to statewide office in the state of Maryland, toured the library, met with visitors and gave a lecture. He told the audience that Republicans must stay committed to conservative ideals if they’re to regain power in Washington. WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers
