Super season for Simi youth soccer squad


HISTORY IN THE MAKING—The Simi Valley AYSO Region 121 U-10 boys’ Galaxy soccer team had a historic finish at the 2009 AYSO Area 10E League Championships in Thousand Oaks. The Galaxy made it to the semifinals, finishing in third place overall. Previously, Simi Valley’s AYSO U-10 boys had never advanced beyond the league format in pool play. In addition, the Galaxy has been invited to participate in the Section 10 playoffs in February at Bakersfield.
