At Corto Street and Royal Avenue, a 34-year-old man and a 36year-old woman were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

At the Home Goods store in the 3000 block of E. Cochran Street, a 57-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting and charged with theft.

Jan. 1

Officers responded to a family dispute in progress in the 2000 block of Apollo Court and arrested a 24year-old woman on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

Near the Chuy’s in the 5800 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 24-yearold man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. At the same time, a 23-yearold man was arrested for being drunk in public.

At Royal and Crosby avenues, a 57-year-old man was arrested for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.

Near the Target in the 2900 block of E. Cochran Street, a 54-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 2

An 18-year-old man was arrested on the corner of E. Los Angeles Avenue and N. Stow Street and charged with providing false identification to a police officer.

In the 2700 block of Kadota Street, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary.

A man, 38, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing a non-injury accident on the corner of E. Cochran and Tapo streets.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and Tapo Street, a 40-year-old man was arrested for stealing a vehicle.

In the 1100 block of Appleton Road, officers responded to a call of a disturbing subject and arrested a 42-year-old man for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence in the 1800 block of Williams Street and arrested a 63year-old man on a charge of sexual battery.

Jan. 3

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing an injury accident in the 1800 block of Erringer Road.

At the Kohl’s in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting and charged with theft.

At Hudspeth Avenue and Fitzgerald Road, a 45-year-old woman was arrested for providing false identification to a police officer.

Jan. 4

An 18-year-old man was arrested in the 2800 block of Fairbanks Avenue and charged with burglary.

At Sycamore Drive and Niles Street, two 19-year-old men were arrested on charges of conspiracy and an 18-year-old man was arrested for theft.
