Leigh Nixon, president and CEO of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, has been selected as the chair of the board for Southern California Chamber of Commerce Executives, an organization of more than 300 chambers of commerce throughout Southern California.

Nixon will head the board of directors, which is comprised of Chamber CEOs from across the state.

She has been on the SCACCE board for seven years and has served as membership chair and chief financial officer.

As president-elect her responsibility included chairing three Chamber staff and board seminars in 2009.

Nixon has been the CEO of the Simi Valley Chamber since 1999 and in the Chamber industry for more than 25 years.

She serves on numerous foundation boards and is the president elect for Simi Sunrise Rotary.
