ward-winning film examines air quality

Two representatives from the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District will discuss the award-winning film “Air: The Search for One Clean Breath” at a presentation from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Fri., Jan. 8 at the United Church of Christ Simi Valley, 370 Royal Ave.

The event is part of the church’s ongoing Simi Valley Community First Friday Forums series.

Barbara L. Page, public information manager, and Don Price, air quality engineer, will talk about clean air and global climate change as it relates to the film, which was produced in Ventura County. Page co-authored the screenplay and served as executive producer.

The film asks the question: How has air evolved and what does it mean for our human experience?

This is a free event, although a goodwill donation of $5 to $10 is suggested. The public is invited to attend. Free parking is available.
