Acorn was wrong to publish officer’s sour grapes
Chief Lewis is getting tarred and feathered. Who couldn’t find a disgruntled ex-employee in a stressful organization highly focused on performance?
To boldly place this detective’s accusations against Chief Lewis on the top fold of our local newspaper stinks. The title should have been “Disgruntled ex-detective airs his grievances,” and it should have been placed near the obituaries.
So, according to the out-to-pasture Detective Coambs, Chief Lewis failed to be the fed’s lackey. For that, I and all the neighbors I talk to give Chief Lewis a vote of confidence. And a couple “Attaboys!” to boot.
Twice now, the feds’ internal memos proclaimed that returning vets and Ron Paul supporters were potential terrorists.
The feds built a post office backwards on L.A. Avenue.
The feds are a menace. I say support our local police, unless they are enforcing federal laws like the Click-it or Ticket seat belt racket.
As for the Police Officers Association hiring a public relations firm, well, that says it all doesn’t it? My advice guys: Fire them immediately. Then give a pink-belly to POA President Detective Bill Daniels. Both are making you guys look real bad.
If you need more money let’s join the local currency movement and give you guys what is fair. It’s pretty obvious that you all do a pretty good job.
