The Santa Susana Railroad and Museum, in connection with the Simi Valley Care and Share program, will host a visit from Santa Claus from 1 to 4 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Dec. 19 and 20 at the Santa Susana Railroad Depot, 6503 Katherine Road in the Santa Susana Knolls, Simi Valley. 

Santa will be handing out candy canes to the children and hearing their Christmas wishes.

Donations of nonperishable food for the Care and Share Christmas Basket Program will be collected.

The Santa Susana Railroad Depot, originally located east of Tapo Street at 4459 Los Angeles Ave., was constructed by the Southern Pacific Railroad and completed in March 1903. The depot moved to its present location in May 1975.
