Chamber lunch to discuss Simi’s current retail climate

The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Business Development Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wed., Dec. 16 at Best Western Posada Royale Hotel and Suites, 1775 Madera Road, Simi Valley.

Brian Gabler, assistant city manager and director of economic development for Simi Valley, will discuss the current status and future outlook for businesses in the city in a talk called “Business Opportunities in Simi Valley: Looking Back, Moving Forward.”

Gabler’s presentation will highlight Simi Valley’s current retail climate; local business diversity, vacancies and lease rates; services available to local businesses through the city and its partners; and the retail horizon for Simi Valley. 

The cost is $25 for Chamber members and $45 for nonmembers. Reservations are due by Mon, Dec. 14.
