•Royal Players of Royal High School will present the comedy “The Curious Savage” at 7 p.m. Dec. 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 in the school’s multipurpose room, 1402 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

The play tells the story of a widow who schemes to protect her money from her greedy stepchildren.

Tickets are $10 reserved seating, $8 general seating and $6 for seniors, children under 10 and students with ASB.

•The Simi Valley High School Instrumental Music Department, under the direction of Daniel M. Sternberg, will present a Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 17 in the school’s multipurpose room, 5400 Cochran St.

The concert band, concert orchestra and wind ensemble will perform.
