Redbird, a nonprofit organization, will host a blanket, toy and school supply drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 5 at the Simi Valley Library community room, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

The event will have American Indian music and potluck-style food. Food contributions are welcome.

New, lightweight hand or machinewashable blankets will be collected and sent to the Porcupine District of South Dakota.

New boxed toys will be distributed to local agencies and families. New school supplies will be given to Walking Shield at their Glendora donation site for distribution to reservation school children.
