The city of Simi Valley will conduct an open meeting to determine the scope of the Environmental Impact Report for the city’s General Plan update from 4 to 6 p.m. Wed., Dec. 16 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, multipurpose room No. 116, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Public agencies and Simi Valley residents are invited.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from the community on the potential environmental effects of the ongoing General Plan update, which will guide future growth and development in Simi Valley for years to come. The document hasn’t been updated in 20 years.

Comments received at the meeting will be considered in determining the topics to be studied in the impact report.
