Royal runners earn trip to state
      The running will continue for one more week, at least for some area teams and individuals. Locals competed at the CIFSouthern Section Cross Country Championships last weekend at the rugged and hilly Mount San Antonio College course in Walnut.

Royal alumni needed to play ball
      Alumni players are needed for the Royal Highlander baseball alumni game on Sun., Dec. 20 at Hird Field, Simi Valley. Check-in is 11 a.m. with the game starting at noon. A barbecue dinner will follow. Alumni will play against the Royal varsity team.
