Proud keeper of Simi’s history


WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE—In recognition of her 45 years of service, City Historian Pat Havens received a Native American turquoise necklace from Simi Valley Historical Society board members during the society’s annual membership meeting Nov. 13. Havens, whose family history in Simi goes back to before the turn of the century, founded the historical society in 1964.
