Four out-of-town men were arrested on Nov. 18 for allegedly attempting to sell heroin and a stolen firearm in Simi Valley.

Investigators received information that Adrian Mayorga, 32, of Palmdale, was distributing large amounts of heroin in the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley and also trying to sell a stolen handgun.

On Nov. 18, investigators arrested Mayorga; Eric Santellan, 22, of Pacoima; Jose Lomeli, 29, of Pacoima and Francisco Garrido, 22, of Palmdale as they tried to sell two ounces of heroin and a loaded, stolen handgun at Kuehner Drive and the 118 Freeway, Simi Valley.

Local authorities are working with the Los Angeles Police Department to confirm that the recovered handgun was used in a home invasion robbery in the Woodland Hills area on Oct. 5. During the robbery, a victim was shot and seriously wounded.

All four suspects were booked into jail for heroin sales with a special allegation that the group was armed with a loaded firearm.
