Rivalry football game unites community

For the first time since 1995, the Royal vs. Simi Valley football matchup was played at Simi High. Acorn photographer Iris Smoot was on hand to capture all the big moments from the hard-fought contest, won by Royal, 28-7. It was the Highlanders’ 10th victory in their last 11 games against the Pioneers.
