Vaccination clinic had friendly, wellorganized staff

I just want to take a moment and thank the American Red Cross and everyone else that was involved in coordinating the H1N1 swine flu vaccination clinic at Rancho Santa Susana Park on Thurs., Nov. 12.

I was avoiding the clinics due to lots of people and long lines, yet when I heard one was being held so close to my house I decided to head over that evening. Upon my arrival, I was discouraged to see so many cars because my concern was that they would run out of the shots.

Pulling up, the parking lot was well-organized and well-marked as to where I needed to go. I got into line with a lot of other people, yet the line moved so quickly.

Everyone was so organized, and the best part was that everyone I dealt with was really friendly and very helpful. If I had been dealing with that many people all day, I sure wouldn’t have been as friendly.

From the back of the line to walking out the door it took me 40 minutes. I was so pleased and very thankful for everyone that organized and worked the clinic. Good job.
