Hillside Middle School will offer a workshop for parents at 7 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 19 in the school cafeteria, 2222 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley.

Guest speaker Holly Kurtz will give a presentation on improving study skills.

Kurtz will discuss practical strategies for dealing with organization, note-taking and test preparation. 

All parents are encouraged to attend. Students may attend if accompanied by a parent.
