Nov. 4

On the corner of Madera Road and W. Easy Street, a 36-year-old man was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Nov. 5

A 20-year-old man was arrested in the 2200 block of N. Hilldale Avenue and charged with failing to register as a member of a street gang.

In the 2000 block of Royal Avenue, a 32-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The following were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 52-year-old man on the corner of Duncan Street and E. Los Angeles Avenue, and a 22year-old man on the corner of Tapo and E. Cochran streets.

At Rancho Simi Community Park in the 1700 block of Royal Avenue, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for the illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage. She was arrested again the next day for the same offense in the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue.

Nov. 6

A man, 50, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2200 block of Workman Avenue.

On the corner of First Street and E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 39-yearold man was arrested on a charge of theft.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on the corner of El Monte Drive and Royal Avenue and charged with carrying a loaded firearm (on her person or in her vehicle) in a public place or street. At the same time, a 24-year-old man was arrested for violation of parole.

Nov. 7

A 27-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after fleeing the scene of an accident on the corner of E. Los Angeles and Surveyor avenues.

The following were arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance: a 31-year-old man in the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street, and a 27-year-old man in the 80 block of W. Easy Street.

At the Bank of America in the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street, officers responded to a fraud in progress and arrested a 32-year-old woman and charged her with burglary.

At the CVS/pharmacy in the 4400 block of Alamo Street, a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary. In the same incident, a 36year-old woman was arrested for possession of any tool with the intent to break into a building or vehicle.

Nov. 8

An 18-year-old man was arrested on the corner of Erringer Road and the westbound 118 Freeway for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Nov. 9

On the corner of E. Cochran Street and Galena Avenue, a 32year-old man was arrested and charged with violating a protective/ restraining order.

Nov. 10

Officers responded to a fight in progress near the Vons shopping center in the 1800 block of E. Cochran Street and arrested a 21year-old man for battery.

On the corner of Royal Avenue and Sycamore Drive, a 40-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

At the Carl’s Jr. in the 2600 block of Tapo Canyon Road, a 65-year-old man was arrested and charged with annoying or molesting a child under 18 years of age.

Nov. 11

On the corner of E. Industrial Street and Ralston Avenue, a 19year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a tool or marking substance with the intent to commit vandalism or graffiti.

A 44-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana on the corner of Stearns Street and E. Los Angeles Avenue.
