Fox isn’t the only news agency with political affiliation

This is in response to Jody Kepple’s letter written on Nov. 6 and her apparent dislike for Fox News. I really don’t care about that, but what I do care about is freedom of speech.

I am glad that I can watch, which I do every morning, the “Today” show on NBC, and in the evening I watch Fox. I am thankful that I live in a country that has both sides of the political spectrum available to view.

Kepple wrote that Fox tilts its coverage toward a right-wing perspective, but what she forgot to mention is that another network tilts toward the left, i.e., NBC.

She also wrote that Fox is “afraid to admit what they really are,” yet NBC hasn’t admitted what they are and whose deep pockets they have their hands in (i.e., George Soros and Jeffrey Immelt). I saw the president give an interview on the “Today” show two weeks ago, yet again. Gee, which side of the coin do you think NBC is on?

She wrote that if Fox rises up to the challenge of confessing its real identity and real purpose, then Obama will grant an interview, but NBC never stated their view, and he gives them interviews?

It’s obvious that NBC is favorable toward the president, so of course he goes there, although they have never stated their political affiliation. So, let’s just say for argument’s sake that both Fox and NBC don’t have to say which allegiance they have since it’s quite obvious.

Personally, I am glad there is a network to challenge the president and his policies. There should be. That’s freedom of speech. If you don’t like it, change the channel. Kathy Baker Simi Valley
