Congregation B’nai Emet and St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church will host a joint nondenominational Thanksgiving service at 7:30 p.m. Wed., Nov. 25 at the synagogue, 9 W. Bonita St., Simi Valley.

Simi Valley Mayor Paul Miller will deliver the opening welcome. Participants are asked to bring canned or boxed food items or monetary gifts for the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley.
