Remember 1968? Not the social upheaval or the war or the free love part, but the movie part? Back in ’68, the Motion Picture Production Code (more popularly known as the Hays Code) was abandoned in favor of the present film rating system. More ... I was invited to represent the Acorn at a press dinner hosted by FOX Sports Grill in Westlake Village. As often happens in this age of answering machines, Blackberrys and e-mails, the evening I showed up for the dinner was, in fact, not the evening of the press dinner.
